THE CLAIM OF IBOM PLAZA RENOVATION BY THE AKWA IBOM STATE GOV’T IS AN OFFICIAL FRAUD.
The Government of Akwa Ibom State has released colorful animation of what appears to be a beautifully renovated Ibom Plaza at the heart of the Uyo capital city.
However, a visit to the once posh plaza after the acclaimed renovation reveals, without any equivocation or exaggeration, that besides painting of the tree trunks and walls, there is nothing to boast about in the socalled renovation.
Even then, the Oron road side of the plaza is left untouched. No painting at all as at the time of making this statement.
Government has failed to disclose to the public the budget implication for the repainting of the plaza.
ADC Akwa Ibom State hereby demands for transparency and accountability from the Government.
ADC Akwa Ibom State chapter demands that the Umo Eno-led Administration should stop forthwith misleading the people.
